Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how
ITcians LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Matrix MDM ("the Service"), collects, uses and protects information. Matrix MDM is an on-premise Mobile Device Management product: the management panel runs on your own server, and your device data stays with you. We operate a central licensing service ("Central") that your panel contacts only for licensing and billing.
1. Information we collect
- Account & registration details — organisation name, contact name, work email, phone, country, website and address that you provide when registering.
- Billing information — the plan you select, subscription status, and records relating to your manual (bank transfer) payments. We do not collect or store card numbers.
- Aggregate device counts & health — your self-hosted panel reports only anonymous totals (number of managed devices and basic health) to Central so we can enforce your plan limits and support you.
- Portal & technical data — information generated when you use the Central portal, such as log-in activity, IP address, browser type and cookies used to keep you signed in.
2. Device data stays on your server
Matrix MDM is designed so that personal or device-level data — device locations, installed-app inventories, identifiers and any content — remains on the server you control. We do not receive that data. Only the aggregate counts described above ever leave your premises, and only for licensing.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and licence.
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service and support you.
- To process subscriptions, confirm payments and enforce plan limits.
- To send service and billing communications (for example renewal reminders and expiry notices).
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the Service.
4. Third parties
We rely on a limited set of providers to run the Service, including Google's Android Management API (which powers device enrollment and management on your behalf), an email delivery provider, and our hosting provider for Central. These providers process information only as needed to perform their function. Your use of device management is also subject to Google's applicable terms.
5. Data retention
We retain account and billing records for as long as your organisation has an account with us and as required to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account information subject to those obligations.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information in our care, including encrypted transport and hashed credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for securing the server on which you host your panel.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
